Destination Canada is a crown corporation created by the Government of Canada to promote tourism. Canada is the second largest country in the world.  Canada was founded by both the French and the English in the 16th and 17th centuries. Indigenous first peoples of Canada migrated from east Asia 21000 years ago. There are 50 first nations with their own language and culture. Canada borders three oceans and it’s boreal forest covers over 50% of it’s landmass. There is much for tourists to explore from diverse cosmopolitan cities of the south to a vast northern wilderness.
